Our Tartan

​The Band wears the "Burlington Firefighters Pipes and Drums Tartan"  which was custom designed and made for the Band. The tartan incorporates the colours from the City of Burlington logo; yellow, green and blue. Each of those colours represents the natural environment surrounding the city; the sun, the escarpment and the water. Red is a colour that has been long associated with firefighters and fire departments. The black represents our fallen brothers and sisters.
